Huge congrats to Chris Weston (fellow lulu, good friend, and marvellous writer), who won the Romance Writers of New Zealand Clendon Award this weekend. The story really does rock, and we all have our fingers crossed for a well deserved sale sometime soon.
Other writing news–well, i’m the proverbial bee’s dick away from finishing Mercy Burns. I’ve just finished writing the big fight scene, now I have the end scene to go, and I’m there. I was actually hoping to get this finished by the start of the Romance Writers of Australia conference this weekend, and it looks like I might actually get there. Wouldn’t it be nice to meet a goal for a change?Of course, Mercy will still need a ton of work, but at least I’ll have the frame work done, and I can get on with writing the next Riley. I’m going to need plenty of time to write Riley because I’m shifting house in September, and anyone who’s shifted house before will know just how much that can mess your life up!

Okay, I am feeling like I have come to the dance a little late. Is Mercy a new character in a new book, or do I get to go out and look for some more books by you that I don’t have yet? I have all of the Reily books. Can I get any of your other books here in the US of A?
