the edits for Beneath a Rising Moon, that is. Although I think I’m pretty much done at the moment, too. lol. Sadly, I barely have time to sigh in relief because the next two lots of edits have been shipped and should be landing on my doorstep any day now. Don’t you just love the way the editors clear their desks for the Christmas break? lol These next edits are due back late January and early February respectively, so it means I’m not going to get much of a break over the holidays. I’m guess its lucky I’ve got a good start on Risa 3, because writing it might be a bit hit and miss over the next few weeks (depends on just how extensive the edits are)

In other writing news…well, there’s really nothing to report. I’m still out of contract, but negotiations are underway, so we should have news on that soon (although, again, editors have cleared off for the holidays, so it’ll be the new year before I hear anything now.) I’m also thinking of putting With Friends likes These up on smashwords, so that you can read it on Kindle, IPad etc. That, of course, means I’d have to finish revising it, and right now, I just haven’t had the time. But hopefully, I will eventually get the chance.

Anyway, have a safe and happy Christmas, everyone! Hope the holidays are filled with fun times and good friends :)

    Ms. Arthur,

I came across your Riley Jensen series purely by accident. Actually a co worker of mine went to a used book store here in the States(Louisiana) and since I share all my books with her she did the same with these. I must say I could not put the books down. I was even reading ahead of her on my IPad because I didnt want to wait till she finished the next! I was really saddened to see the Riley series end as I do believe there is still alot of story to tell when it comes to Riley and Quinn, Rhoan and Liander, plus the twins that his sister is carrying. I do hope that one day you reconsider doing something along the lines how their lives are years from now. Did Jack and Sal ever get together? Just so many questions. LOL.. However I must say that I have so loved this series of books that I am going to go thru the rest of the ones that you have. I cant wait! Thanks for being such a great writer.

Just completed reading Moon Sworn and looked for the novel which follows it. Unfortunately, I have found nothing. Does this mean there is no book 10 as the other messages I’ve read suggest? I need to know whether Riley and Quinn are able to keep their promises to each other; whether Jack is able to get the leader of the Directorate to agree to let Riley work as a consultant; whether Liander and Rhoan ever swear to the moon; whether Quinn helps Dia’s daughter with her powers; whether being a parent and a wife provides Riley with the sense of fulfillment she thinks it will; whether Riley and Rhoan reestablish a relationship with their mother, etc.

    Selfishly waiting with great anticipation,

    Deborah
