Fav Authors/Books
Peter O'Donnell ~ Modesty Blaise series. The original (and still the best)
kick-arse heroine. They're hard to get these days, but well worth the
effort.
Dick Francis ~ everything he writes is brilliant.
Laurell K Hamilton
~ Anita Blake series (up until the 9th book. Haven't read NIC or ID, and don't
think I will. I did read Cerulean Sins, but it wasn't a keeper
for me). I've read the first two in the Merry Gentry series, but
I'm not sure if I'll read the rest (I wanted Doyle to be the
only one to win the princess, and with the developments in the
latest book, it looks like he'll have to share :( ).
P N Elrod ~ The Vampire Files series
Mecedes Lackey ~ Heralds of Valdemar series, Children of the Night
Stephen King ~ Christine, The Stand, Salem's Lot and The Eye of the
Dragon. Actually, I love all his earlier books, but haven't read many of
his latest.
Anne McCaffrey ~ Every one of her Pern Books
Tanya Huff ~ Blood Debt, Blood Pact, etc
Andre Norton ~Beast Master, Lord of Thunder, The Witch World series
David Eddings ~ Love the Belgariad series
James Herbert ~The Survivor, The Fog, The Jonah and if you've got a strong
stomach, The Rats trilogy. Haven't caught up with his latest books, except
for the Ghosts of Wreath and Nobody True, which were macabre but great.
Tara K Harper ~ Wolfwalker Series
Kay Hooper ~ Love the Shadows series!
Alistair Maclean ~ an oldie, but a goodie if you like first person action
Raymond E Fiest ~ love the magician series
Lilith Saintcrow ~
loved the first two Danny Valentine novels, and I'm currently
reading the third.
Patricia Briggs ~ Read Moon Called & Blood Bound,
and will be really pissed if the wrong wolf wins her hand in
Iron Kissed
