gingerbread houses...

I almost didn’t put these pics up, especially after I saw the fabbo gingerbread house Rachel did (check out the Dec 10 post). Makes mine look quite tame by comparison :) . But I had great fun making them, and besides, making gingerbread houses isn’t quite the art here in Oz that it is in America. (We Aussies tend to avoid cooking when the days are hot, and it is summer here right now and believe me, it’s damn hot!)

So, here they are. I forgot to cut doors and windows in them, so I had to make do with lollie ones :)

    I have gingerbread envy :-) Unfortunately, I live in a family in which we’re happy to eat, but not interesting in baking ie. doing our own dirty work ;-)

    they are delicious–I had gingerbread leftover, so I made some little gingerbread trees. They got eaten very quickly. lol.

    And Rachel, your house is amazing. Mine are cute :)

    I think they look fabulous! I hope the one I make this weekend for my friend\’s party on Sunday comes out just as nice. :)
