to be woken up than a dog throwing up right beside your bed at six AM in the morning?
Seriously. Eeeeeeewwwwwww.
Needless to say, I’m sitting here hoping this is not a pointer to how the rest of the week is going to go.
Okay, so what’s been happening in my writing world? The answer is, not much. I finally finished the edits on Mercy Burns (at midnight last night, I might add) and have sent it along to the wonderful Robyn for a read through. Hopefully, the story will hang together and make sense. Which means I can now start the 9th and final Riley–which is tentatively titled Captured by Vengeance. I’ve already done the outline for this, so I know where the story is headed, and I’m hoping that the actual writing of it will go smoothly. So of course, you just know the exact opposite will happen. lol

Oh god. Words I didn’t want to hear. End of Riley. I’m going to take comfort from the fact you now have dragons *VBG*

I’m dying to know: any idea yet of Riley 9′s release date?

Riley may be ending, but the characters will live on–they will probably appear every now and again in the offshoot series (which I’m debating calling either the fallen angels or the dark angels series)
And I have no idea when Riley 9 will be released, but I imagine it’ll be sometime next year. As soon as I do know, I’ll put it up on my site

I have really enjoyed Riley and I’m really looking for to the upcoming release of Deadly Desire as well as the final Riley….but I’m also encouraged by your new books as well. I really enjoyed the first book of your new series – Destiny Kills and am anxiously looking forward to Mercy Burns… I think you have another series that will be a winner.

Aw. The last book for Riley? I just stole the 5th book from my sister, and just love it, and the series. I need books on my daily train rides to work. I’ll go mad if I have nothing to read… I’ll have to start looking at your other books. ^_~

I for one hope that Reily realizes that just because she\’s a werewolf, she\’s also half vampire and you don\’t know where you\’ll find love or who you\’ll find love with, so with that being said, please let it be Quinn. He respects her. He respects her mind and her body whereas the other partners she\’s had (male werewolves, it\’s about power, dominance….sounds too abusive to me. She should want someone who is going to love her in every way and not just during a moon phase.
