Anne (my editor) asked if I wanted to use the same old author shot or send a new one. Given I hate the old one, I jumped at the chance. After dragging my daughter off her Mac (no easy task, let me tell you), we headed out to the garden to grab some shots. In the process, we took some shots of me with my dogs. the fluffy one is a sheltie. He’s so cute–but he gets very hot in summer (and his coat is a lot of hard work!)

haha, i have a springer, and she doesnt have very long fur, but she gets filthy cause.. well we live in england and on a farm

Oh my they are the cutest. I would definetly pick the first shot. They look like they can keep someone wam on cold nights.

Keri, i love these pic they r so cute and i agree with u u should choose one of these as ur author pic it would be oringinal and one of a kind.i loved bound by shadows by the way and cant wait for the 9th book. keep writing i’ll keep buying.

These pictures are absolutely adorable! The first shot is my favorite.
I have 3 labs(one yellow, onechocolate, and one black) & I’m planning on liberating an adorable little dachshund from a pet store. Your sheltie is so cute…I want one! hehe
