And it’s been getting some fabulous reviews. Here’s just a couple to wet your appetite…
Niki Hawkes from the Obsessive Bookseller said: Awesome characters, great writer, and understated love story aside, it’s the overall mystery of the series that has me champing at the bit for the next one. Arthur did a great job weaving all of her plot points into a complex storyline.
Annie from Under the Covers Book blog said: Arthur is very straightforward with her writing, giving enough details about the world and its characters without going too over the top. The pacing is on point and I feel like I always know what I can expect from a Keri Arthur book whenever I pick one up. You’re always guaranteed some good worldbuilding and a kickass heroine plus a good dose of sexy time and who doesn’t want that? I’d say this is another definite win from Arthur.
Mimi from What the Cat Read said: Keri continues the suspense and fast paced, on the edge of your seat action that abounded in City of Light. Just when you think Tiger is going to have a moment to relax and just settle, she’s caught up in either a fight for her life, investigating the newest lead in the case of the missing children, or attempting to infiltrate some high security building. Each chapter has you turning the pages in anticipation of what is going to happen next. There were a couple of times where I felt just as physically as exhausted as Tiger, but I suspect that was because I kept holding my breath during the fight scenes, and a few times I was left wincing in sympathy as she attempted to heal the damage done to her body. Honestly, I’m in awe over just how powerful a character Tiger is..There can be no question that I want more, the sooner the better.
CherylM-M’s Book Blog said: Despite being a successful award winning author I don’t believe Keri Arthur really gets the recognition or attention she deserves for her writing. Regardless of the genre, sub-genre or the topic, Arthur always gives her readers a run for their money…Winter Halo is an action driven read with creative ideas, intricate world-building and plenty of potential for further development. It was, as always with a Keri Arthur book, a read I would recommend.
Winter Halo is available from all the usual places, both in store and online.
Hope you all enjoy it 🙂
